Small Group Breakout Room AssignmentsMap of Hotel Meeting RoomsIn the first of our small groups we will introduce ourselves and describe the dynamics of where we work as part of defense teams. We will meet our colleagues and introduce the ways in which we practice as social workers, sentencing advocates, case coordinators, reentry coordinators, and the other roles we have in public defender offices, identifying the strengths and challenges of our programs and learning how other programs utilize their social workers/sentencing advocates in an interdisciplinary setting. We will also discuss common issues and goals for the week.
