Kristin LaVoy has spent her entire 16 year legal career as a public defender, having also been assistant appellate defender at the State Appellate Defender Office in Michigan and a trial level defender in Wayne County. She is currently the training director for NDS Detroit where she coordinates and administers training for NDS and assigned counsel in Wayne county.
